He was predeceased by: his son Denis Hassan Jr. (Carol Hassan) of Plymouth; his siblings, William, Teddy Hassan and Margaret Meehan; and his parents, Edward Hassan and Marguerite Hassan (Cantwell).
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hassan (Hurst); his children, Lynne Matson (Craig) of Plymouth and Brian Hassan (Nellie McDonough) of Plymouth; his grandchildren, Jay, Jessica, Nicole, Ben, Richie and Kyle; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Christopher and Zoey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
