He was predeceased by: his father Alfred L. Burgess; and his brother Christopher J. Burgess. He is survived by: his children, Taylor Ryen and Caitlyn Anne (Kristian Meyer); his grandson Kayce Ryen; his mother Anne M. Burgess (Whiting) of Douglas; his brothers, David A. Burgess (Nancy Lea) of Belleview, Richard W. Burgess (Carolyn N.) of Chelmsford, MA and Robert C. Burgess (Tina) of Belleview, FL; and his sister-in-law Kristin Buck (Brian Smith) of Martha's Vineyard. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews, and 12 great nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Denis Church (23 Manchaug Rd, Douglas, MA 01516).
