Janice A. Martel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice A. Martel of Plum Island, Massachusetts, born in Ipswich, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 2, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Peter Martel (Gillis); and her siblings, Doris Hinckley, Evelyn Tremblay, Alma Bruni, Howard and Paul Martel.
She is survived by: her son Jay; her grandchildren, Jackson, Lily, Aidan and Colton; and her daughter-in-law Leah Martel (Pierce) of Danvers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
On August 2, 2015 she completed one of her greatest achievements hosting and performing a charity concert at the Methuen Music Hall to commemorate her 75th birthday!
