He is survived by: his wife Zaida McFarlane; his children, Karen O'Neil, Laura Lippert and Steven McFarlane; his stepchildren, Marshal Neal, Martha Svedberg, Mary Hogan and Mark Neal; and his siblings, Anna Lynch, Paul and Brenda McFarlane. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
