It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theodore John Rzemien of Plainville, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Rzemien and Elizabeth Rzemien (Michalowicz); and his sister Carole Laquerre. He is survived by: his wife Barbara E. Rzemien (Emley); his children, Lynn Ann Rzemien-Plotkin (Paul L. Plotkin) of South Kingston, RI and Stephen Michael Rzemien of Narragansett, RI; his stepchildren, Thomas W. Durden II of Block Island, RI and Jon Kevin Durden (Diana Durden) of Ocala, FL; his granddaughters, Stephanie Murin (John Murin) and Elizabeth Calore (Andrew Calore); his great grandchildren, Sarafina Murin, John James Murin and Eliana Calore; and his sister Louise Rzemien Thomas (late David Thomas) of North Attleboro, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name and honor may be made to either the Jimmy Fund at Dana Farber Cancer Insitute or to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
