He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry H. Field and Laura Field Jr. (Berglund); his wife Linda O. Field (Mafera); his daughters, Elizabeth (Beth), Stephanie, Denise and Brenda; his grandchildren, Ryan, Meghan, Kaitlyn and Amanda; his great grandchildren, Jack, Thomas, Reese and Leo; his brother John Field; and his sister-in-law Lynn Field. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
