He was predeceased by: his brothers, Joseph, Jack, Bill, Peter and Paul; and his parents, Joseph A. Tomasello and Catherine L. Tomasello (Tracey).

He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Tomasello (McAuliffe); and his children, Michael E. Tomasello (Christine), William "Bill" Tomasello (Kathy) of Norwood, Edward T. Tomasello (Sharon) of Center Conway, NH, Robert C. Tomasello (Catherine "CJ") of Mansfield and Susan M. Mills (Don) of Exeter, NH.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the West Roxbury VA Medical Center 1400 VFW Pkwy, West Roxbury, MA 02132.
