He was predeceased by: his mother Thelma Witherell (Field); his brother Ronald E. Young (late Rita M.); his nephew Richard Rasher; and also Robert Everett Rascher. He is survived by: his wife Madelyn R. Young (Connors); his children, Cheryl M. Gagne (Jerry P. Gagne) of Taunton, MA, Kerrie A. Benevides (John Benevides) of North Dighton, MA, Sandra J. O'Neill (James F. O'Neill) of Attleboro, MA and Brenda L. Higgins (Robert E. Higgins Jr.) of Rehoboth, MA.; his sister Shirley A. Rascher (Field) of Rehoboth, MA; his nephew Jeffrey Rascher of Rehoboth, MA.; and his friend Richard Hall (Eleanor Hall) of Greenville, RI. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
