She was predeceased by: her parents, Giuseppe Alfano and Anna Alfano; and her siblings, Vincent Alfano, Dominic Alfano, Rocco Alfano, Jean Mizell and Marion Cantone.
She is survived by: her husband Howard Lewis Downing; her children, Robert Downing of Putnam, CT and Diane King of Atkinson, NH.; her grandchildren, Jennifer Kenny of Yucca Valley, CA, Amanda Davitt of Hooksett, NH and Jason King of Hampstead; her great grandchildren, Kelsey Davitt and Lily Kenny; and her sister Jo Gustenhoven of Reading, MA. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends, including her nieces and nephews and her sisters- and brothers-in-law.
