It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zenon Babis of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Jaworowska; his brothers-in-law, Boleslaw Sawicki and Waldek Pilichowski; and his niece Christina Sawicki. He is survived by: his daughter Margaret Gedek; his grandson Matthew Gedek of Avon, CT.; his sisters, Bogumila Sawicki and Maryla Pilichowska; his nieces and nephews, Michael, Henry, Marek Sawicki and Beata Pawlowska; and his friends, Kim and Mike Gwilt.
