He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Avery of Pittsfield; and his children, Tobbie Avery-Tracy (Lee), Doria Avery-Stevens (Nick), Scott Avery (Jenn) of Windsor, CT, Sara Avery-Oblisk (Kurtis) of Pittsfield, Katrina Avery (Dan) of Hinsdale, NH, Jareth Sykes of Pittsfield, Jesse Sykes Jr. of Pittsfield and Seanna Sykes (Matt) of Dalton.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his name to Friends of Renal Dialysis in care of Dery Funeral Home.
