He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron O. Thomas and Estelle M. Katzung Thomas; and his siblings, Raymond G. Thomas, David A. Thomas, George O. Thomas and Jean M. Bowland.
He is survived by: his siblings, Charles E. Thomas, Ralph R. Thomas, Marie C. Martinico and Jane M. Kendall (Buck Kendall); his former wife Sharon A. Thomas; and his daughters, Kim M. Thomas, Kelly A. Thomas, Jessica L. Thomas, Heather L. Thomas, Sueann Thomas and Barbara M. Marauszwski (Adam Marauszwski). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
