William Matthews Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Matthews of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 21, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Matthews and Jeanette Matthews (Bourassa); his brother Joseph Matthews; and his stepbrother Robert Bourassa. He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Matthews (Aleo); his son Mark J. Matthews (Anna) of Pittsfield; his grandson Nicholas J. Matthews of Pittsfield; and his siblings, Shirley Anello (Joe) of Pittsfield and James Matthews (Karen). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
