He was predeceased by: his daughter Marilou; and his sister Jacqueline O'Gara. He is survived by: his wife Elena Provenzano; his children, William Mara (Jean), Nancy Ennis (Robert) and Susan Curran (David); his grandchildren, Jill Ennis, William Mara, Kaitlin Mara, Christopher Mara, Sara Ennis and Erin Curran; and his siblings, Bernard Mara (Sharon), Jane Gable (Clark) and Margaret Mary Harris (Greg).
