He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Riegel and Katherine McDonald Riegel; his wife Margaret E. Overlock; and his brother Robert E. Riegel. He is survived by: his children, William Riegel (Cheryl) of Calabash, NC, Janet Riegel of Scotia, NY and Katie Riegel of Pittsfield, MA.; and his sister Margaret F. Riegel Yarsley of East Longmeadow, MA.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his can be made to the local chapter of Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home .
