He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruno Carchedi and Laura Anello Carchedi; and his sister Judy Ricchi (Aldo Ricchi). He is survived by: his wife Josephine Carchedi; his children, Deborah J. Betit (James) of Pittsfield and Vincent J. Carchedi, Jr. of Pittsfield; his grandchildren, Jason Carchedi (Jennifer), Nikki Carchedi (Britton Limes), Jared Carchedi (Nicole DeBaggis), Bruno Carchedi (Michelle), Jaime Traversa (Christopher Barris) and Jacqueline Harrington; his great grandchildren, Emma, Bella, Anthony, Jadon, Mia, Nico, Sofia, Luca, Owen, Abel Carchedi, Cameron Blunt, Vanessa, Logan Traversa, Brooke and Alex Harrington; and his sister-in-law Kathryn J. Tassone of Pittsfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Sacred Heart Church in care of the funeral home.
