With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Valerie Wilson Pettus of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 27, 2023 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Sylvester Taylor; and her children, Andre V. R. Ortiz and Aisha L. D. Wilson. She is survived by: her mother Evelyn F. Wilson; her daughter Ashlee Logan of Dalton, MA; and her sisters, Stacie D. West of Pittsfield and Candi Faye Taylor of North Carolina. She is also survived by nephew, many nieces, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made out to the American Red Cross and mailed to the funeral home.
