He was predeceased by: his parents, Trana Bailey Purdy and Philip James Purdy. He is survived by: his wife Norma M. Cassavant; his children, Tom, Norma, Aimee Purdy Wilson, Susan (Kurt Kuehnel) of Dalton, Patricia (Andrew DeVries) of Middlefield, Kristin (John Burnish III) of Ogden and John (Cheri Schluter) of Monroe; his grandchildren, Caitlin Wilson Nelson, Stephanie Burnish and John Burnish IV; and his son Jim Torra. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
