Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Theresa Ahern of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 86, on December 15, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, August Castonguay and Mabel Perron Castonguay; her husband David P. Ahern; and her siblings, Louise Giosa, Jeanette Steeves, Robert, August and Edward Castonguay.

She is survived by: her son William Ahern (Brenda); her sister Edwina Addison of Charlottesville Va; her siblings-in-law, Nancy McGill of Pittsfield Ma and Richard Ahern (Shirley) of Burlington, VT.; her caregiver Sharon Ciepiella of Lanesborough; and her friend Chris Petel of Pittsfield Ma. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Berkshire Humane Society or the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
