She was predeceased by: her parents, George Simon and Minerva Sookey Simon; and her sisters, Ilene L. Warren and Lois Henault (Salvie). She is survived by: her husband John A. Sykes (Pokey); her sons, Thomas J. Sykes (Cortney) of Westfield, MA and Stephen G. Sykes of Pittsfield; her sister Lorraine Moresi of Pittsfield; and her grandchildren, Samantha, Sydney Sykes, Benjamin and Nathan Sykes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in care of the funeral home to further honor two of Susi's grandchildren, either to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Fund, specifically, "Team Nate the Great" or to Shriners Children's New England Care Center, Springfield, MA, in care of the funeral home.
