It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley E. Grunow (Pittsfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on February 29, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harold E. Fentner and Marie A. Fentner; her husband Bruce H. Grunow; her son David B. Grunow; her brother-in-law Robert Grunow (Mary); her children, Elizabeth A. Miller (Darren) of Stockbridge, MA and Kurt W. Grunow of Pittsfield; her grandchildren, Erica Almeida (Darin), Alyssa Grunow, Rebecca Grunow, Jared Miller and Janelle Miller; her great grandchildren, Jackson and Emily Almeida; and her brother-in-law Albert Grunow (Deanne).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Shirley's name to HospiceCare in the Berkshires or the Berkshire Humane Society. Donations CANNOT be made online, but may be made through the Dwyer-Wellington Funeral Home.
