With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sherwood Barry of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, born in Newport, Rhode Island, who passed away on October 12, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold C. Barry and Madeline L. Clark Barry; his wife Margaret "Betty" Elizabeth Johansson; his son Stephen; his granddaughter Kim; his daughters, Michelle Worth (Mark) and Sandra Barry; his daughter-in-law Carolyn Barry; his son Dennis Barry (Sharon); his grandchildren, Heather Barry (Sue), Jason Barry, Kristie Gentile, Matthew Gentile, Tyler Barry and Rebecca Barry; and his great grandchildren, Alaina, Zachary, Ava, Tula and Willow.
Memorial donations may be made in Woody's memory to the Hospice of Western & Central Massachusetts, in care of the DERY FUNERAL HOME 54 Bradford Street.
