She was predeceased by: her parents, James Slater and Dorothea Wright Slater; and her sister Kathy Dalton of Des Moines, Iowa.. She is survived by: her children, Bryon Drill of Minnesota, Amber Drill of Brant Rock, Michael Culpo of Westerly, Destiny Culpo-Lechner of Pittsfield and Carlee Culpo-Lechner of Great Barrington; her grandsons, Bryce Drill and Greyson Culpo-Lefavour; and her sister Carla Benza of Naples. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
