He is survived by: his wife Ellen R. Murray; his brothers, Raymond Chaffee and Bruce Chaffee; his sister-in-law Ann Murray Kamienski; his nieces, Sarah, Erin and Danielle; his sister-in-law Michelle; his daughter Mary; his nephew Joe; his wife Mary A. Murray (Roberts); his brother-in-law Matthew W. Kamienski; and also Brown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ellen Murray-Chaffee to be distributed among Roland's favorite charities.
