He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Petell and Shirley Enright Petell; and his sister Patricia Heisler. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Petell of Pittsfield; his daughters, Robin A. Petell (Manny Silveira) of Lanesboro, Tina M. Wood (Richard) of Pittsfield and Lisa B. Duda (Jonathan) of Lanesboro; his grandchildren, Heather, Makayla and Nicholas Duda; his sister Christine Glazar (Gene); and his friend Mike Ellsworth.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter in care of the funeral home.
