Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Robert leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred L. Hogue and Margaret Street Hogue. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Mimi" Hogue of Pittsfield; his sons, William R. Hogue of Kobe and Thomas A. Hogue of Pittsfield; and his grandson Pietro Hogue.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Agnes Church (489 Main St, Dalton, MA 01226). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. He taught woodworking and wood carving at the Ralph J. Froio Senior Center, and frequently volunteered at the National Archives, RSVP, and Hancock Shaker Village.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his name to the Boston Children's Hospital in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
