He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bruno and Celia Russo Bruno; and his sister Beverly Vittone. He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Maxwell Bruno; his children, Michele Barile (Joseph Sr.) of Greensboro, NC., Robert A. Bruno Jr. (Stephanie) and Jennifer Bruno (Jim Wachner) of Oxford, CT.; his grandchildren, Tia Barile, Joe Barile, Jr., Sara Barile, Anthony, Nicholas Bruno, Baylee and Jack Fairhurst; his stepgrandchildren, Madison and Austin Wachner; his great grandchildren, Addie and Ryland Barile; his nephew Vittone of Las Vegas; his brother-in-law Tom Maxwell; and his nieces, Jennifer Maxwell and Kimberly Maxwell.
