It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Koldys (Pittsfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on April 20, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita Koldys to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanislaus Rainka and Maryanna Hilenska Rainka; her husband Frank E. Koldys; and her siblings, Edward, Raymond, John, Henry Rainka, Irene McInerney, Isabel Ropelewski and Jane Daniels.
She is survived by: her children, Francis S. Koldys of Pittsfield and Christine M. Spiewak (Leonard) of Pittsfield; her grandchildren, Sean and Nicole Koldys; her great grandchildren, Hayleigh M, Gracie M and Roger W. Gavin; her sister-in-law Sue Hospod of Pittsfield; her granddaughter-in-law Kim Koldys; her children, Levi, Khloe and Jonny; her godson Robert Ropelewski; her pet Sarah; and also, Jennifer Billington, Kelsey and Rachel Hassan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in care of the funeral home.
