We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2021, at the age of 99, Rita H. Bazan of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, born in Winooski, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Bazan; her parents, Joseph Roy and Rosalie Roy (Blais); and her siblings, Yvonne, Lydia, Cecile, Mary Jane, Irene, Yvette, Eugene, Fred and Armand.
She is survived by: her children, Peter W. Bazan (Priscilla) of Brewster, MA, Diane Brown of Pittsfield, MA and John Bazan of Pittsfield, MA; her grandchildren, Kevin Bazan (Ann) of Winchester, NH, Ryan Brown of Boston, MA, David Brown of Pittsfield, MA and Karen Bazan of Brewster, MA; and her great grandchildren, Connor and Amelia Bazan of Winchester. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to a charity of your choice in Rita's memory. Donations CANNOT be made online, but may be made through the Dwyer Funeral Home.
