It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Alan Kay (Pittsfield, Massachusetts), born in New London, Connecticut, who passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Martha Fern Mikesell Kay; and his siblings, Larry, Sherry, Kathy and Verona.
He is survived by: his close friend Elizabeth M. Brodeur of New London; and his siblings, John J. Kay (Cheryl) of Groton, Gregory W. Kay (Dorothy) of Westerly, Paulette Shirley of Groton and Lisa Swigart (James) of Dalton, Massachusetts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
