We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2023, at the age of 92, Richard H. Coleman Sr. of Pittsfield, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Coleman and Helen Coleman; and his brothers, Donald Coleman, Jr., Rev. David Coleman and Robert Coleman.
He is survived by: his sister Nancy C. Wyand of Dalton; his children, Susan Gagnon (Donald), Holly Coleman, Tammy Kupernik (James), Richard Coleman, Jr. (Heidi) and Sandy Coleman Cronin (Allen Sykes); his grandchildren, Nicole Avila (Javier), Kara Zablotsky (Alex), Samantha Ruel Inman (Matthew Wilson), James Kupernik (Christine), Christopher Kupernik (Laurie), Ashley Yuknis (Shane), Carrie Ramirez (Andres), Amanda Baumann and Shane Cronin; and his great grandchildren, Jackson Inman, Owen, Maya Zablotsky, Levi, Emmett Yuknis, Gianna Lyon and Avery Ramirez.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Music Ministry of First Baptist Church or to Elder Service in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA in Richard's memory.
