It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Brites (Pittsfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on September 10, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Eleanor LaDouceur; his mother Mary T. Brites of Lenox; his brothers, David Brites (Melissa) of Pittsfield and James Brites (Laurie) of Lynn Haven, Fla; his daughter Katherine Hemler (Jake) of Orlando, Fla.; his stepsons, Scott Ferrin of Whitehaven, PA, Dean Ferrin of Oklahoma and William Kingston of Pittsfield; his godparents, Valentino and Elaine Brites Pascetta; and his former wife Suzanne Tourigny of Cheshire, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital in care of the funeral home.
