It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Belford of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 10, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Belford and Mary Jane Brombach Belford; his wife Frances C. Boulais; and his sister Lily Kendrick. He is survived by: his children, Susan Labbe (Normand), Regina Belford, Richard J. Belford, Jr. and Robert Belford (Andrea); his significant other Patricia Gavin; and his partner's children, Robert Gavin (Karen), William Gavin and Debra Kiley. He is also survived by six grandchildren and Patricia's six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and mailed to Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
