He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kolodziej and Celia Kolodziej (Pliszka); and his siblings, Charles Kolodziej, Dorothy Frieri and Loretta Rysz-Vinette.
He is survived by: his children, Peter Kolodziej of Pittsfield, Marianne Kolodziej (Paul) of Peru, MA, Francis Kolodziej (Vicky) of Pittsfield and Joanne Kolodziej of Pittsfield; his grandchildren, Albert Kolodziej (Lexi) of Pittsfield, Karolina Kolodziej of Pittsfield, Adrian Kolodziej (Felyce) of Pittsfield, Corey Scarfone of Pittsfield and Holly Scarfone of Pittsfield; his great grandchildren, Freya, Jaxsin and Flora Kolodziej; and his brothers, Frederick Kolodziej of Easthampton, MA and Robert Kolodziej of Uncasville, CT. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kolodziej family for distribution to their favorite charities.
