Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Phoebe Honig (Pittsfield, Massachusetts), who passed away at the age of 91, on January 6, 2021. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dr. Kenneth E. Bell and Vera Thresher Bell of Marblehead, MA; her sister Elizabeth Scott; her sons, Bruce, Alan of Pittsfield and Duncan; her daughter-in-law Marilyn Honig; her grandchildren, Austin and Carter of Stamford, VT; her grandchild-in-law Haley Honig Mielenz (Robert Mielenz) of Clarksburg, MA.; her brother-in-law Robert Ehlert; her nieces, Cindy Lyles, Carol McIntyre, Anne Ehlert and Ruth Bell; her nephew Brad Scott; her siblings, Phyllis Ehlert and John Bell; her siblings-in-law, John Scott and Nancy Bell; her nephew Steve Scott; her niece Merry Perry; and her husband Clark Honig.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, services will be private, but a memorial service in Phoebe's honor will be aired on YouTube at FUMCpittsfield by January 20th.
Anyone wishing to donate to a charity in her name may give to the food pantry of South Congregational Church of Pittsfield.
