Peter Tierney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter Tierney (Pittsfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on May 8, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Peter Foote; his brothers, Robert, Richard and Edward Tierney; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Tierney, Helen McIntyre and Donald McIntyre.
He is survived by: his former wife Frances Farrell; his wife Fran; his children, Peter F. Tierney, Jacqueline Foote, Christopher Tierney (Kathy) and Patrick Tierney (Heather); his grandchildren, Liam Tierney, Kyle, Kristopher Magargal and Michaela Foote; his children, Shane, Molly, Sadie and Tessie Tierney; his brother John "Shaun" Tierney (Carol); and his sisters-in-law, Jean, Sybil Tierney, Marilyn Viale (Craig Viale) and Geraldine Kelly. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph or to Dana Farber Cancer Research, in care of the Devanny-Condron Funeral Home.
