It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter J. Jones of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Jones and Margaret Jones; his wife Jean M. Jones; his parents-in-law, James and Doris McCue; and his brothers, Frederick (Fritz) and John Jones (Jack).
He is survived by: his children, Christine McDonald of Pittsfield and Daniel Jones (Andrea) of Walden, VT; his brother-in-law Gerald McCue of Ridgefield, CT.; and his grandchildren, Natalie Jones of Northampton, MA and Caitlyn McDonald of Pittsfield.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boys and Girls Club, in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201 in his memory.
