With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patrick J. Carty of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 14, 2021 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Carty and Judith Carty. He is survived by: his son Devin Carty of Greenfield; his sister Erin; his brother-in-law Alec Porter of Marstons Mills; his brother Dan; his sister-in-law Maura Carty of Sudbury; his brother Mike Carty of Pittsfield; his nieces and nephews, Jack, Sam and Maighdlin Carty; and his aunts, Sharon Ann Carty and Harlene Leahy.
A public gathering to celebrate Pat's life and share stories will be held at a later date, when Covid restrictions are lifted and all are able to safely gather.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pat's memory to The Pittsfield Boys and Girls Club, in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201. Donations CANNOT be made online, but may be made through the Dwyer Funeral Home.
