He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Higgins and Catherine Murphy Higgins. He is survived by: his children, Michael T. Higgins, Jr. and Catherine J. Higgins; and the mother of his children Bonnie Kane. He is also survived by his many aunts uncles and cousins.
