She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Aiello and Mary Gagliardi Aiello; and her husband Richard A. Smith, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Lynn A. Carmon (Patrick) of Pittsfield, Richard A. Smith, Jr. (Dale) of North Adams and William A. Smith (Karen Wilcox) of Pittsfield; her sisters, Connie Stroffolino of Pittsfield, Angie Mickle of Pittsfield, Diana Hugabone of Pittsfield and Antoinette Hendricks (Austin "Bud") of Pittsfield; her brother-in-law Robert Smith (Patricia); her grandchildren, Stacy Carmon, Shaun Carmon, James Smith, Rebecca Smith, Morgan Smith and Sydney Smith; and her pets, Ozzie, Nefi, Betty and Merlin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Lung Association or Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
