We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2024, at the age of 71, Mary Rita Kane (Pittsfield, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dumm and Eileen Dumm (O'Leary); and her brother Denis Dumm. She is survived by: her daughters, Sarah Kane of Jacksonville, FL and Meghan Kane (Justin Bousquet) of Bloomfield, CT; her pet Rex; her brother James Dumm of South Carolina; her sister-in-law Ann Dumm; her niece Kaylyn Wolf of Carlisle, PA; and her friends, MaryEllen Florzyck, Betty Wager and JoAnn Seager.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Soldier On or The Elizabeth Freeman Center both in Pittsfield, MA as she was a fierce advocate for always helping others.
