She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Teresa LaRosa and Rocco LaRosa; her sisters, Nina LaRosa, Grace Custer and Katharine LaRosa; her half-siblings, Carmello LaRosa, Pasquale LaRosa, Frank LaRosa, Rose Noto and Carmella Tucci; her husband Aldo A. Berti of Cheshire; her sons, Joseph R. Berti (Nancy Ciaschini) of Venice and David M. Berti (Donald Baillargeon) of Waltham; her niece Teresa Campbell (Tony) of Pittsfield; her nephew Charles Custer (Linda) of Latham, NY; and her friend Esther Cahill of Pittsfield.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in memory of Mary A. Berti be sent to the Susan G. Komen New England Breast Cancer Fund (Mrs. Berti was a two-time survivor of breast cancer), or the Women's Lunch Place of Boston, an organization that aids women in need by helping them to secure employment.
