He was predeceased by: his parents, William White and Margaret Scott White; his wife Eileen Marshall; and his brother Paul White. He is survived by: his siblings, Kathleen White, Mariellen Connor and David White; and his siblings-in-law, Ellen Lantz (Fred), Jane Emerson (Phil), Maureen Perkins (Willie) and Thomas Marshall (Wanda). He is also survived by grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and several nieces and one nephew.
