As we bid Marion farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Marion is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her son Joseph H. Fortini; and her husbands, Ernest J. Fortini, Roy Dodd and Edward Fennessey. She is survived by: her children, James B. Fortini (Patricia), Ernest F. Fortini of Pittsfield, MA and Marlene Rokoz (William). She is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dery Funeral Home (54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (222 Pecks Rd, Pittsfield, MA 01201).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her name to Hope Hospice in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
