She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald DeFreest and Jane Hitchcock DeFreest; and her sister Dorothy DeFreest. She is survived by: her siblings, Donald DeFreest of Dunburton, NH, Margaret DeFreest Adelson of Huntersville, NC, Christine Papadakis of South Egremont, MA and Patricia McDonough (James) of Pittsfield, MA.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to Berkshire County ARC in care of the funeral home.
