It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Gleason of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on June 13, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lane and Winifred Fairbanks Lane; her former husband Joseph F. Gleason; and her brothers, Raymond Lane of Rhode Island and William Lane of Rhode Island.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wendy Patterson (Jim), Jacquelyn Cantwell (Bill), Judith Collins (John), Joanne Jeffery (Brian), Meg Murphy (PJ), Kim Findlen (Bob), Michaela Clancy (Sean) and Kristen Gleason (Derrick). She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Mass General Hospital Cancer Center in care of the Dwyer-Wellington Funeral Home.
