It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Downing (Pittsfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on January 24, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Downing Sr. and Gertrude Martin Downing; her brother Gerard; and her nephews, John Tobin Downing and Nathaniel Snow Downing.

She is survived by: her siblings, John F. Downing, Jr. (Mary) of Pittsfield, Joseph D. Downing of Westboro, Michael B. Downing (Peter Bryant) of Cambridge, MA and Mary Ann Matthews (Robert) of Trumbull, CT; and her sister-in-law Pamela J. Downing (late Gerard D. Downing) of Pittsfield. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
