He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel A. Kelly Sr. and Sara Kelly (Makela); and his siblings, Gordon Kelly Sr., Philip, James, Roger Kelly and Margaret "Peg" Ellen Kelly Fuller.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia J. White; his children, Mark Wnek of Pittsfield, Lauriann Bigelow (Edward) of Pittsfield, Jamie Kelly (Amber) of North Adams, Tanya Kelly (Gary Hunt) of Tolland, CT, Tammy Kelly of Averill Park, NY, Stacey Ellery of Pittsfield and Shaun Kelly (Kristen) of Saratoga Springs, NY; his grandchild Liliana; and his sister Kathleen Kelly Staples (Tom Bernier) of Petersburg, NY. He is also survived by 3 other great grandchildren.
