Lewis C. Markham Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lewis C. Markham of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 2, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis C. Markham, Sr. of Lee and Charlotte E. Knight Markham; and his brother Paul A. Markham of Pittsfield. He is survived by: his wife Cande K. Sumy; his daughters, Christina Markham of Pittsfield, Leigh Borden of Worcester, Tracy Markham of Hardwick and Jayme Zalupski of Seattle; his grandchildren, Vanessa Adams of Florida, Jocelyn Leon of Charlton, Jordan Markham, Sr., Gabriela Leon and Lew Borden Jr.; his mother-in-law Barbara Scott; his friends, Dennis Jenkins and Peter Marchetti; and also Ryan Shea. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dery Funeral Home (54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pittsfield Parade Committee or to HospiceCare in The Berkshires, both in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
