She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustus J. Sottung and Helen Hughes Sottung; her husband Donald F. Murphy; and her brother Don Sottung. She is survived by: her children, Michael (Sarah Murphy) of Richmond, Kellie Woodall (Meg Murphy) of Maryland, PJ and Matthew Murphy (Amy) of Taunton; her sister Marjorie Flynn of Pittsfield; her grandchildren, Tim (Lauren), Kevin (Melodi), Ryan (Laura), Lane (Greg), Kyle (Bridget), Haley, Karly, Kasey, Margo, Kelsey and Joey; and her great grandchildren, Shea, Lochlan, Easton, Ivy, Dalton, Finnegan, Emma, Samantha, Max and Dylan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Karyl's memory may be made payable to "Mt. Carmel Activities Fund" and mailed to the Devanny-Condron Funeral Home.
